How does the Day Clock work?
Many people with dementia have difficulty distinguishing between day and night. This can cause disorientation, confusion and wandering.
The Dementia Day Clock’s award-winning design aims to reduce this confusion, by clearly and simply displaying the period of day, rather than the exact time.
So if it’s 10am on a Wednesday, the Day Clock will display ‘Now it’s Wednesday Morning’. This orientates the person with dementia to the right period of the day.

Great product but the option of battery power would have been good.
Ordered this clock for my dad who has dementia. It arrived quickly and well packaged. I bought it because my dad never knows what day or month it is so it’s great for that, but Unfortunately he insists on turning all the sockets off every night when he goes to bed and then forgets to turn the clock on again in the morning. It would therefore have been better for him if it had the option of battery power. Other than that it is a great product.
